Hello, im from Portugal and my destination of the journay is Poland (erasmus exchange). My friend gave me that web side, that i can try to find/buy the cheapest tickets. That would be my first real travel so i dont know exactly whats going on and how to find some good connections.
I want to land in Katowice or Krakov, 20/21/22 september, if there is someone kind and would check something i will be grateful.
There s also no problem to sleep at the airport, and i need luggage with me. Thanks

There's nothing direct, only what you can get is a Ryanair flight without guaranteed stopovers.
As for now, the cheapest connection is on 22nd of Sept., from Porto to Eindhoven and from Eindhoven to Kraków (FR7472&FR5891).

Of course you need to add a luggage fee which is 25€/35€ (15/25kg) for each segment of your journey.

I don't think you'll get a really cheap connection, unfortunately it's a bit too late.

Don't pick KTW as a destination. The main airline operating at KTW is Wizzair and definitely it's not a good solution for you since you have some stuff to take with you. When flying with Wizzair you can bring less than on ryanair flights (their luggage policy allows you to take only a small piece of handluggage complimentary).

and next fly 17.00-19.10 Paris Beauvais - Krakow by Ryanair

it's a little bit too late for catch some interesting offer, especially in your case because you need to take luggage.

please, use this flight browser: http://www.skyscanner.pt/ and look for flights from porto (OPO) to paris beauvais (BVA)
and then BVA to katowice (KTW). the cheapest ways is for about 65euro + cost of your luggage(and it will not be small). with this route the main problem is that there is only 1 hour and 25 minutes for change and it can be not enough if you have luggage.

safer but more expensive is go by bergamo (BGY) o dortmund (DTM). both cost about 110euro (+ luggage...) and you have a lot of time for change or even do some little sightseeing.

also, look for direct connection with warsaw (WAW), because then you will avoid paying twice for your luggage.

Just let us know when is your university located, throughout Poland you can cheaply travel by Polskibus.com, maybe you'll be able to get something cheaper to other city in Poland.

yes, but if he goes for erasmus, surely has something more than 2 t-shirts and wizz doesn't have so low limits with luggage comparing with ryanair.

And definitely 1,5hrs for stopover may be a bit risky, especially if he travels with another piece of luggage. Apart from the time he needs to drop off his suitcase again, in case of unexpected delays, he's stuck there with much more to pay for another connection. Layover at BVA is really short.
