Please note that Visa on Arrival is generally intended for travellers who do not have access to a Guyana Embassy or Consulate in or near their country of residence. Most European travellers therefore apply for their visas through the Embassy of Guyana in Brussels.

The Embassy is not involved in the Visa on Arrival procedure and, unfortunately, we cannot check the status of your applications or issue the approval letters. Visa on Arrival applications should normally be submitted approximately one month before the intended travel date, and any follow-up regarding an existing application must be made directly with the relevant authorities at the Ministry of Home Affairs in Guyana.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you may submit new visa applications through our Embassy in Brussels. In that case, we will need your original passports and all required supporting documents in order to process and affix the visas.

You may send your supporting documents to us by email for review. However, we will need your original passports in order to issue and affix the visas.

If you prefer to come to the Embassy in person, the visas can normally be issued on the same day, provided that all the required documents have been submitted and the visa fees have been paid in advance.

The visa fees are as follows:

€45 for a single-entry visa, valid for three months;
€75 for a multiple-entry visa, valid for six months.

We regularly process visa applications for Polish nationals and applicants from other European countries. If you are unable to travel to Brussels, you may also send your passports and supporting documents to the Embassy by courier .
