This tariff includes:

Unlimited mileage
Local taxes (IGIC or VAT)
Free airport service
Second driver free
Baby seat and booster seats included
Free bookings amendment and cancellation
Fully comprehensive insurance with no excess*. It is included: personal accident cover –PAI-, collision damage waiver –CDW-, Total coverage in case of the theft of the car –TP-.
*Just for premium cars there is an excess of 300,00 euros


This tariff does not include:

Damage to wheels (rims) and tyres.
It is forbidden to drive the vehicle off asphalted roads or in forbidden or dangerous areas (such as sand roads, beaches, mountains, etc).
Lost the keys dame or deteriorate the key or the remote control.
Damage caused by filling the tank with the wrong fuel (.Inadequate refuelling.).
Accident or damages caused by inadequate (dangerous) driving or under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
Any damage caused by bad parking.
The charges of any possible law intervention because of any traffic violation.
PLUS CAR are not liable for personal belongings inside the car

5. Items included in the reservation price of your vehicle:

The final price of the reservation of the vehicle includes the following items:

   1.   Taxes (IGIC/IVA included).
   2.   Unlimited mileage.
   3.   Second driver free of charge.
   4.   Service in our office at the airport.
   5.   Cancellation of the free reservation.
   6.   Seats for babies and booster cushions for children free of charge. (CHILD SEATS)
   7.   The following insurances (without excess):
      o   Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).
      o   Theft Protection (TP).
      o   Personal Accident Insurance (PAI).
      o   Damage to third parties.

As optional or additional services you can hire (not included in the reservation price of the vehicle), it highlights the roof rack to transport luggage, whose daily cost is 2€/day. It does not include the strings, only the clamping bars to the vehicle.

Roof-racks can carry up to 2 surfboards, properly attached. The company does not assume any damage to the vehicle or to third parties caused by objects transported in the roof of the vehicle. These damages are the responsibility of the client.

6. Situations or contingencies not covered by the insurance:

Our insurance does not cover the following situations or contingencies:

•   Damage to the tyres, wheels and underbody of the vehicle.
•   Loss or breakage of the car keys.
•   Wrong refuelling.
•   Accidents related to reckless driving or under the influence of alcoholic drinks, drugs, narcotics or any other toxic or psychotropic substances.
•   Driving off-road.
•   Fines.

The rates offered through top-car-hire.com include:

Taxes (IGIC).
Unlimited mileage.
Second driver free of charge.
Child boosters and child seats.
The insurances included in the rates offered through top-car-hire.com are:
compulsory insurance with Third Party Liability, comprehensive insurance (CDW), which is the partial coverage in damages by collision that covers the customer by light damages and scratches in the bodywork of the vehicle and fire, Theft protection (TP) and Personal Accident Injuries (PAI). With the CDW insurance service you would be agreeing in requesting a franchise that may vary depending on the vehicle hired. These franchise’s expenses would be between 300€ and 1000€. Also an additional insurance (SCDW) can be contracted for 5 € plus taxes per day up to a maximum of 75 € plus taxes per hire contract.

SCDW covers the following cases: damage to rims and tires, tire flats, glasses, wing mirrors, front and back headlamps, indicators, road assistance, tow truck and replacement. Damages caused by negligence of the authorized driver or breach of the conditions of contract are not included, for example, loss of keys, damage done to the underneath of the car body by traffic on unpaved roads and wrong fuel refueling, among others. With the SCDW extended insurance service, the client won’t have to request any franchise.

We are not responsible for any object left inside the car.

The insurance is fully comprehensive without excess including glass, mirrors, and tyres except keys, underbody and personal objects inside the car.



Confirmations of reservations are inmediate. In case we don't have the desired model, we'll offer another car of the same category or superior.

The price includes taxes, unlimited mileage and an audio-guide of the Canary Islands (you can ask for it at our offices). The child-seats, booster-seats and roof racks are free of charge. The extra driver is free of charge (you can add it at our offices).

Fuel policy: If the client collect the car with an amount of petrol, the client will have to pay a deposit for it at our office. If the client return the car with the same amount of petrol, we will refund your deposit back.

There is no extra charge to cancel or modify the booking. You can do it on-line, log in as a registered client; by email or by phone.

We inform you that the child-seat and booster-seat are free of charge. The child-seat is for babies from 0kg to 18kg and it is on the back seat forward facing/rearward facing. The booster-seat is for children between 15kg-36kg and it is without backrest, only the seat. The seat will be given at the car collection and the customer must fix it in the car.

CICAR will not be responsible for claims or damages arising from bad performance, errors, omissions, interruptions, elimination, defects, delays in operation, computer viruses, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to personal records or the alteration of the same or the use of data, information, etc.

The user expressly accepts that the use of this web page is the responsibility of the user. The user assumes the total costs of the services, repairs, etc. necessary in his or her system. Moreover, the user expressly accepts that neither CICAR, nor entities affiliated to CICAR or related to the same, nor their employees or agents nor any person or entity that has participated in the creation, production and distribution of this web page are responsible before any person or entity for any loss, damage (for the use or attempt to use the web page).
